Qualification: A model of a virtual community with a decentralized reputation-based peer evaluation
Record: kaal:position:2026-08-08-284 · 2026-08-08
Olifer independently supports a narrower peer-validation form of Kaal's accrual rule. In his network-community model, members submit documents with verifiable content; three randomly selected independent reviewers decide authenticity by simple majority; and reputation increases only after the submitted document is evaluated as authentic, while a negative evaluation reduces it. That mechanism makes a community validation decision, rather than mere activity or self-assertion, the gate for reputation accrual. It qualifies rather than fully validates Kaal's design: Olifer models document-authenticity review in a bounded community, not Kaal's broader REP ledger, legal or technical institutional attestations, capability tags, stake, citation weighting, or production governance substrate.
Affirmed commentary position. This record extends a source-bound scholarly claim but is not a verbatim paper claim.
