> Two constraints follow. First, the record must be owned by its subject rather than by a host. On centralized platforms, "users earned their reputation but do NOT own reputation," and an account deletion destroys years of history with "near zero ability to reclaim the data," while scores remain "trapped in Silos" with no path to aggregation across platforms (Calcaterra, Kaal, and Sivalingam 2018, claims 3266953-009 and 3266953-010). Portability of the evidence commitment is the remedy. Second, append-only integrity does not justify indefinite public exposure. Tombstones, encryption, restricted stores, and selective disclosure preserve accountability without making sensitive content universally public.
